Doris Designs Ltd. is proud to have been part of Fashion for the Brave on 20th September on the Brave catwalk at The Dorchester Hotel, London, where an astonishing £250k was raised for injured Household Cavalry men and the British Forces Foundation. The show organised by Hilary Alexander and Lesley Goring showcased British designers such as Stella McCartney, Mulberry and Burberry. Models graced the catwalk wearing Doris Designs petticoats with very British bikini tops and super high platforms. Love Doris x

DORIS Designs petticoats receives lots of orders from Australia and it is our third biggest market.  So  we were super excited to be told that our ivory 21" length skirt would be used in Australia's Aromatique Essentials Magazine.  We just love this shoot; it has a magical mystery about it, like a fairytale. Since this picture has been shown on our various networking platforms and website, we have had lots of enquiries about the model's top, which is made by Julie Nelson. What a stunning outfit for bridesmaids....

Yes, believe it or not, the DORIS for kids range (age 10-12 years) has plenty of stretch in it and can fit up to an adult size 12. This little stripped number which gives a flattering waistline with a full circle skirt is from New Look at a bargain of £22.99. Great for Summer days and also in colder weather as I saw this morning at the A3 Nuthill car boot sale where a pretty blonde wore hers with chunky tights and brown bots, and a washed out denim jacket. Looking far too cool for the car boot.

DORIS Designs petticoats was approached by the lovely Katy Howieson from What Katy Did Next about collaborating on a styled shoot based around Alice In Wonderland. And we can see why. Doris skirts certainly added a vintage feel with a fun twist. Katy Howieson makes stunning head pieces ranging from £45 to £120.

- Ice Queen & Black Swan

DORIS Designs petticoats being showcased in the Ice-Queen and Black Swan photoshoot organised by Anna Bowkis Photography The shoot was so well received that it was featured in Professional Photographer magazine. The Doris petticoats went down a treat and really  added to the mystical theme, albeit a little scary. I think this shoot emphasis how versatile our Doris petticoats are - from bridesmaids to Ice-Queens.
